It’s 2020 & CoVID Hits the nation

The United States shuts down in major ways and Americans retreat to their remotest of abodes to take a deep Spring breath and gather what was going on in the world. My retreat found me back in Indianapolis at my parents home on Meadowbrook Dr. After leaving a not-quite-done-yet-how-about-a-couple-more-runs season at Winter Park, I moseyed back to the midwest climate.

With the VID in the air

Time was abundant. In Indy, there was 10+ years of backed up yard debris on the property. Everyday, late in the morning, it would serenade to me, calling

“Hey, Michael. Hay. Heh. Heh, Mickle. Break sticks and stack some wood..”.

I couldn’t resist. So, I broke sticks and stacked some wood. Had a good time doing it, to be honest.

Special Shout Out
Mr. Schlanger, thank you for the chainsaw borrow (a wonderful tool for those getting started in landscaping and the like).

Woodland Landscaping

Progress was made that summer.

I continued to build on to the structure by weaving in living Honeysuckle trees with “harvested” materials.
